hot beaches of Goa , the cool forests of the Kali
Wilderness and Adventure Camp await you. Tucked deep in
the forest, the camp is a mere stone’s throw from the roaring
banks of the Kali River . Here you can great escape from the hustle
and bustle of city life. You’ll feel like you stepped into
another world.
Along with leisure and sports activities the Kali Wilderness
and Adventure Camp is an attraction for its compelling
wildlife sights. The camp and surrounding area is a bird watchers
paradise. Bird enthusiasts will spot Kingfishers and Egrets along
the river, while Cormorants fly overhead. With almost 200 varieties
of birds in this wilderness area you are sure to catch a glimpse
of many interesting species.
As you trek through the surrounding jungle you may get a rare sighting
of one of the big cats- leopards and black panthers make their home
in the surrounding forests. There are never any guarantees of spotting
a wild animal. For most, traveling through the jungle with the sun
streaming through the branches is a memorable early morning experience.

nearby reservoir.

* Have a camp guide take professional quality photographs of you
and your family and/or friends as you tackle grade 3 rapids. They
will even have it blown up as a poster-sized souvenir.
Accommodations at the Kali Wilderness and Adventure Camp
:
The spirited adventurer will enjoy staying in the completely furnished
tented cottages with attached baths. There are nine tents, in all,
enough to accommodate 18 visitors. Other visitors may prefer the
main lodge, which has 11 rooms and can accommodate 22 guests.
Conference facilities:
The camp also has a large reception and dining hall, which is available
for conference groups and meetings. The conference facilities can
hold up to 100 people. |
